The activities of Care and Repair in Powys are overseen by a Management Board
This is a committee made up of representatives from Mid-Wales Housing Association (our parent company), Powys County Council elected members and independent Board members with relevant experience of the sectors we are involved in. Senior officers from the Local Authority Housing and Social Services department also attend meetings as Observers.
The Board meets in Newtown on average five times a year and an Annual General Meeting is held each summer. The Board is responsible for governing Care and Repair in Powys in terms of policy, business planning, financial control, monitoring performance and legal responsibilities.
